Sacrifice

I think it is quite beautiful for what it is. Just make sure your light source is consistent through the whole piece. As it is right now I think there could be some more shadow where the statue on the cliff is overlooking the forest. Other then that I feel the fog is too much right now. It is a good idea but it's so harsh that it basically eliminates the entire bottom third of the picture. There's hardly any detail that pops through and the hard edge on the bottom makes it seem more like a frame. It's quite distracting and doesn't add to the composition in leading your eye around the piece instead it traps the viewer there and that's not what you want. I would suggest to lower the opacity a bit or even go in and take some out while painting over other parts. Still overall a nice piece!
